Fancì's Leatherwear Care

Leatherwear Care

At our core, we value the integrity and character of natural materials. Each leather piece is unique, with subtle variations in tone, texture, and markings that are hallmarks of its authenticity. These natural features should be celebrated, not mistaken for imperfections.

To preserve the beauty and longevity of your item, please follow the care guidelines below

Leather
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or high temperatures.

  • Keep away from sharp objects that may scratch or damage the leather.

  • If the product comes into contact with water or liquid, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth.

  • Use a vacuum with a soft brush attachment to remove dust.

  • Only use professional leather cleaning services. Do not wash or clean with conventional methods.

Suede Leather
  • Gently remove surface dust using a dry sponge or soft suede brush.

  • For stains, lightly blot (do not rub) the affected area with a damp, lint-free cloth. Allow to air dry completely.

  • Once dry, restore the nap by brushing with a suede brush or clean sponge.

  • For persistent stains or damage, consult a specialist in suede care for professional treatment.

  • Always store in a dust bag in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight.

Shearling Sheepskin
  • Store in a cool, well-ventilated space, away from sunlight and heat sources.

  • Regularly brush with a soft-bristle brush to maintain texture and remove surface debris.

  • For light soiling, gently clean the affected area with a damp sponge or cloth—avoid oversaturating the material.

  • Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners.

  • If wet, allow the item to dry naturally away from direct heat. Never use heaters or hair dryers, as they may damage the leather.

  • To preserve the shape, stuff with acid-free tissue paper while drying and store upright.
